Acting Workshop

Another one of those planned/serendipitous moments happened when were participated in an acting workshop instructed by Ron Botting. I have never been a fanatic about Shakespeare, but do not dislike it the same. Ron started us out through meditation. Then separated us into two groups and presented us with sonnets. Being number one, I was the first to deliver my line. It was great to have the group coaching, encouraging, and translating the lines for others. It was a type of group harmony that you read about in instructional books on improvement. The group that I was in not only delivered our lines of the sonnet, but also prepared a second delivery of the text translated into contemporary English vernacular. It was an absolute thrill to perform with the group.
